Vision

The vision of the WRC is: “Sustainable water management by all for all”.

The vision of the Water Resources Commission (WRC); “Sustainable water management by all for all”  reflects our commitment to a collaborative and inclusive approach to water governance in Ghana.

What This Means

  • Sustainable Water Management
This emphasizes the long-term protection, responsible use, and conservation of Ghana’s water resources. It means ensuring that water is available, clean, and reliable not just for today, but for future generations.

  • By All
Everyone has a role to play from government agencies and industries to communities and individuals. The WRC promotes partnerships and stakeholder engagement, recognizing that sustainable management requires collective responsibility.

  • For All
The vision underlines equity and fairness. Every citizen  regardless of location or status  should have access to safe and adequate water for their personal, agricultural, and economic needs.

Our Commitment

The WRC is dedicated to creating a water-secure future by encouraging public participation, strengthening regulation, and fostering environmental stewardship across all sectors of society.
