The Water Resources Commission (WRC) has received official confirmation from SONABEL that controlled water spillage from the Bagré Dam will commence tomorrow, Friday, August 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Key Operational Metrics (As of Aug 27, 2026):

  • Water Level: 234.64 metres

  • Filling Rate: 95.19%

  • Capacity Margin: 0.36 metres below normal reservoir level
